New AACs Publication Focuses on Traumatic Brain Injury and Victims with Disabilities

As an organization that serves crime victims with disabilities, it is important that the Adult Advocacy Centers examine the complex relationship between traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), disability and victimization. The AACs' newest publication reviews what medical professionals know and understand within the complex world of various brain injuries. It also examines the effects of TBIs on disabilities and explores the victimization and violence that affects individuals with and without disabilities and can lead to a TBI.
